Green Pool Recovery in Anderson Mill, TX

Anderson Mill is a family neighborhood, and family pools go green in a particular way: heavy summer bather loads burn through chlorine fast, and the cedar and oak pollen blowing in off the nearby Bull Creek greenbelt loads the water with phosphates that feed algae the moment sanitation falls behind. When a pool in the 78750 zip code turns, The Pool Police runs a proven multi-step recovery protocol tuned to these subdivision-era builds. We assess the algae type and severity, brush every surface to break the colonies apart so chlorine can penetrate, then calibrate shock to the pool's actual chlorine demand rather than a generic dose. We run and clean the filter through the kill cycle, vacuum the dead algae to waste so the greenbelt-driven organic load leaves the pool entirely, and rebalance pH, alkalinity, stabilizer, and calcium — accounting for whether your block is on Austin Water or well water, since Anderson Mill is split. We run phosphate control so the next pollen wave does not restart the bloom, and we work around the HOA equipment-visibility rules some streets enforce. It is shock with a plan, not shock-and-pray — most Anderson Mill pools are swimmable in 48 to 72 hours, follow-up included.
